Some projects fit no category: a case for a unique piece, an archive box, a collector's item, an executive gift, an exhibition piece, a presentation trunk. Esprit du Luxe designs these objects as one-offs or in very small series, combining packaging, print and leather goods.
We coordinate the crafts required, from drawing to final inspection, with a single contact in Geneva throughout the project.
What we make
Presentation boxes and trunks for a collection or a private sale, cases for unique pieces, archive boxes for historical documents, art books in slipcases, executive and diplomatic gifts, collaboration objects between a brand and an artist, exhibition prototypes, small-scale presentation furniture.
Materials and finishes
Wood, leather, creative papers, fabrics, metal, glass, recycled or bio-based materials, depending on the project. Covering, hot foil stamping, engraving, laser cutting, fine binding, screen printing, sculpted inserts, special opening mechanisms. For each object we bring together the workshops whose craft fits.
Eco-design
A unique object must last and be maintainable or repairable. We choose traceable materials, constructions that can be dismantled where useful, low-impact glues and finishes. We also help you document the origin of the materials, which is part of the value of the object.
From brief to delivery
Everything starts with a conversation about the intention of the object. We propose a concept, sketches and materials, then a prototype or a scale model. Production is entrusted to one or more partner workshops; we coordinate the stages, inspect each piece and organise a delivery suited to the value of the object.
Quantities, lead times and budget
A unique piece, a series of a few copies or a small numbered series. Lead times depend on the crafts involved and are set in the quotation with validation milestones. The budget is built together, item by item, with alternatives at each stage.
